Tampa Debris Collection

Starting Monday, September 30, the Tampa Solid Waste Department will begin to collect vegetative debris, damaged household items, and construction debris. Residents may request immediate collection service by calling the Call Center at (813) 274-8811. The official cleanup sweep will begin citywide on Monday, October 7, and crews will continue to canvas neighborhoods within the City of Tampa to collect debris from the curb.

  • PREPARATION | Place household and construction debris separately from vegetative debris ensuring items are 3 feet away from any obstructions, including cars.
  • VEGETATIVE DEBRIS | Shrubs, palm fronds, tree limbs, grass, and branches should be placed in a pile, a non-city-issued container, or yard waster paper bags.
